Prices move fast, products are perishable, and exporters need to place funds upfront to lock rates, book goods, and keep the supply chain moving. That’s why advance payment is standard in this category.
As for “what if you run away?” — not executing an export order after taking advance is a punishable offence under DGFT laws (Ministry of Commerce, Government of India).
And since VWT is led by an IIFT Delhi alum — an institute run by the same ministry — we know exactly how serious the consequences are.
